Tell us about Wilson Nesbitt and your role within?
Wilson Nesbitt Solicitors is one of the top law firms in Northern Ireland, established in 1948.  We advise clients across many different legal sectors, and I am the Partner in the Residential Property team.

What has been your career journey so far?
I joined Wilson Nesbitt in 2004 as a paralegal, after graduating from Queen’s University Belfast.  I became a Solicitor in 2008 and joined the Residential Property team and have worked here ever since.

Describe yourself in 3 words?
Loyal, Friendly, Hard-working.

What is the 1 skill that helps you the most in your role?
Organisation! I run a very busy, fast-paced department with a large number of employees and client cases.

Do you have any advice for your fellow Women in Law?
Support each other; be role models and help develop the careers of young women in law.

Are there any exciting plans on the way for Wilson Nesbitt?
We have plans to expand our mobile case tracking app to keep improving our service to clients.  We have also been shortlisted for the ESTA Awards 2022, the biggest award scheme in the UK residential property industry for customer service excellence.

Who is an inspiration in your career?
Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States.  She was a pioneer for women in the legal profession.

What’s your favourite break time snack?
Coffee and a (nice) scone

If you had to pick your soundtrack song to get you through the working day, what would it be?
‘Don’t stop me now’ by Queen.
